Splish Splash Puppy FAQs

Our puppies are $2,995.00 in total. This will include frequent puppy updates (videos & pictures), AKC papers, 1st set of vaccinations/dewormer/vet exam, full grooming (nail trim, shampoo/conditioner, introduction to the grooming table & dog dryer), daily handling/interaction, a goody bag and so much more!

Yes! Splish Splash Goldens requires a $800 non-refundable deposit to hold a puppy for you on our waiting list. Puppies are reserved in the order deposits are received. The remaining balance is due when you pick up your puppy. 

 It's easy! Fill out the "Contact Us" form.  Let us know which litter/puppy you are interested in, if you have a gender preference and if you have any questions. We will send you a copy of our puppy contract for you to review and sign. Once we receive the signed contract and deposit is collected, your spot will be secured on the waiting list! Splish Splash Goldens accepts deposits and your final puppy payment using gooddog.com

Your puppy will go home with a puppy goody bag that includes AKC paperwork and medical records. Your puppy will have a  new collar, new toy, a treat and receive a sample bag of puppy food (Purina One + Healthy Puppy). They will be introduced to potty training and crate training. All puppies will be handled, cuddled, and well socialized with children every day. And of course, they will receive a fresh bath/ nail trim before going home with you! 

Limited Registration means you will receive AKC papers, but you will not receive breeding rights. Also, they are eligible to be entered in events such as hunting test, obedience, tracking and agility. Full Registration means you will receive AKC papers and breeding rights. Your puppy is eligible to be entered into the events mentioned above and is also eligible to be entered into a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show.  

Yes! We transport the litter to the vet at 7 1/2 - 8 weeks old. Your puppy will receive an exam, first set of vaccinations/dewormer and will be microchipped.

At six weeks old we start with "First pick male/female" and go down the list individually, in person.

your puppy can go home to his/her forever family at eight weeks old. 

Yes! If you are unable to pick up your puppy in person at eight weeks old, we work with a transportation service that will drive or fly the puppy directly to you. We are happy to provide you with further information if this is the best option for you. 

Absolutely! At Splish Splash Goldens we share pictures and a video of the litter/ your puppy every week with you. When the puppies are born, we will place a different color collar on each puppy so you will be able to identify them every week and watch them grow. 

Absolutely! All our dogs have been DNA health tested by Embark to ensure there are no genetic defects. Our dogs have also had their hips and elbow clearances completed by the OFA. Sometimes we do "Prelims"(before two years of age), or we will wait until Two Years old (recommended). 

With no questions asked, Splish Splash Goldens will always take your puppy/dog back into our care. As your breeder, we guarantee support to you for the lifetime of his/her life. 

Our puppies are raised in our home with daily interaction, early neurological stimulation (ENS), exposure to household sounds, children, and age-appropriate enrichment. We focus on building confident, well-adjusted temperaments from day one.

Yes! We provide a written health guarantee covering genetic conditions. Details are outlined in our purchase agreement.

Our puppies are started on Purina ONE +Plus Natural High Protein Healthy Puppy Chicken Formula Dry Puppy Food.
